Holiday appetizer prepping made easy this year! I wanted to create something fun and festive that was also easy for a holiday party. Enter the caprese salad wreath. It’s the perfect easy holiday appetizer that’s beautiful, too. Coming together in under twenty minutes, you only need a few ingredients that you likely don’t already have on hand!

To make this caprese salad wreath, I used a round, wooden charcuterie board as my base. To ensure my wreath stayed in a neat circle, I put a smaller round bowl in the center to work around. I first added spinach leaves on the bottom as filler, Next, I scooped the mini mozzarella balls and sliced cherry tomatoes around the board. Once I had those placed how I liked, I stuck in fresh basil leaves. I then sprinkled a little salt and pepper around the entirety of the wreath (be careful to not do too much). Lastly, I drizzled a balsamic vinegar glaze on top as the finishing touch. It is super easy to make and couldn’t look more festive! I have a video below if you are more of a visual learner. 10/10 recommend making this wreath this holiday season!

These flower shaped serving bowls are the easiest to pull out and fill with whatever you may need! Here I added in extra sliced tomatoes and mozzarella for scooping. I also love these ramekins from Amazon!

Another simple holiday hosting hack is to serve yummy muffins or cupcakes (depending on the time of day) atop a cake stand for easy grab and go hands! Cake stands (like charcuterie boards) make styling food foolproof. Also, have a pre-filled pitcher of water or your drink of choice nearby so guests can grab a cup whenever they need.
