I remember my grandmother doing this curtain hack with all of her panels. It was the only option back then. They didn’t have rod pockets or tabs when she was decorating her home so this trick has been around for years.

Grab these drapery pins! I space mine every 5” and use the sharp end to slide into the fabric. Once all of the pins are placed, you can hang them on the curtain rings. This is such an easy trick instantly make every curtain panel in your home look more expensive. This is also great to use in the bathroom. I like to use regular curtain panels as a shower curtain so I can hang them this way. It also gives me more flexibility with the length. You should definitely give this a try!
