Welcome to Part One of our Home Tour Series! I get so many questions asking for links and details on home goods around my home, so I thought it would be a good idea to give everyone a tour. Over the next month, I will take you through different rooms of my home and share the noteworthy details of each space. In today’s primary bedroom tour I am sharing all the details from the bedding we chose, the art on our walls, our accent chair, curtains, lamps and more. There are a few items and DIY items that I’m not able to link, so for those I will just share similar finds that I love. Without further ado, let’s begin the tour!
My Favorite Bedding
Let’s be honest, my bed is my favorite part of our primary bedroom. There’s nothing better than crawling under a plush comforter after a long day. Recently, my husband and I were on the hunt for a new pair of sheets. I can’t tell you how many sets we tried. Finding the perfect set of sheets is pretty hard. They can’t be too silky, but definitely have to be soft. They have to be breathable, but also not paper thin. My husband gets hot when he sleeps so that is another factor. I prefer bedding that’s super plush, but he just isn’t able to sleep if the sheets or comforter is too heavy or thick. Alas, we found a set of sheets and bedding that we could both agree on. I am sharing all the links below for our our duvet and pillow covers from Boll and Branch below!
Headboard Inspo
Our headboard was actually a DIY project when I was very pregnant with James. Terrible idea but we made it work! Because of that, I can’t link the exact bed but I have found many similar options so you can check those out below.
Bedroom Intaglio Art
These framed intaglios are actually a fun DIY project I did a while back. These framed art pieces were fast and easy to create. I’m linking everything you need below and also sharing a link to watch the tutorial. Aren’t these so beautiful? What I love about intaglios is how they can be styled in just about any room of the house. We originally had them hung in our living room, but have recently moved them to our primary bedroom. They would also elevate an entryway, office or hallway.
I mentioned earlier in this post that a handful of the items in my home are not able to be linked. Oriental rugs fill my home and a lot of my furniture was actually given by family, found at antique stores or Facebook Marketplace. Click here to see a few reasons why I am such a fan of antique home decor and to see some of my Facebook Marketplace success stories. However, I am going to share a few of these items that are similar. If you are interested in more bedside tables, here’s a link to shop all my budget friendly finds under $300.
