One of my favorite creative outlets is to design mood boards for different spaces. I love gathering products from my favorite home decor brands and then finding creative ways to incorporate each “puzzle piece” into space that is cohesive and also unique. I am more naturally drawn to moody tones, but that doesn’t mean I’m not a fan of spaces that are light and airy—I like it all! Last week I took some time to hone in on creative outlets I really enjoy. I ended up creating 2 bedroom design mood boards for primary bedrooms. The style of each room design is completely different. Room #1 is definitely on the moody side of design while Room #2 is light and airy to the core. Take a look at the bedroom mood boards below and shop the look of your favorite room! 01. Bedroom InspirationIf I had to choose between the 2 bedroom mood boards in this blog post, this is the one I would choose. I am a sucker for moody colors, rich fabrics like velvet, and I am always drawn to gold and brass accents. The headboard in this room is very similar to the one we have in our primary bedroom, and the lamp on the bedside table is the exact lamp we have from Amazon. This bedroom design features modern elements and shapes as well as timeless artwork that is a bit more traditional.

02. Bedroom InspirationI may be more naturally drawn to moody tones, but I would happily take this light and airy bedroom! There is something very refreshing about this space. I love the blues and whites—they’re so peaceful! This bedroom design gives me all the coastal feels. The bedroom decor here reminds me of our beach vacations on the Florida coast. The natural textures, sandy colors and all the shades of blue tie together beautifully to create a room that will never go out of style.
