Fresh Inspiration For Every Space

There is nothing like a sunny January day to inspire me to want to redecorate my space! I can’t get away from the cool, coastal tones that feel like a breath of fresh air after the heavy reds and greens of the holiday season. Sometimes, redecorating and refreshing can look like me flipping the rooms in my house or moving a few pieces around. And sometimes, I just like to “window" shop, a new browser window, that is. I usually start with one piece, like the chair pictured below, and my mind opens up from there! I envision all the possibilities around it. I find it super helpful to mood-board my rooms before purchasing anything. Even just putting pieces side by side on a blank screen helps me get a feel of how they all work together. I hope feel inspired by some of my recent window shopping and find some pieces to click and love.
Bedroom Inspiration
This bedroom is inspired by all my favorite things! Velvet, neutral abstract art, metallic accents and textured pieces. I like to stick to a color palette with one or two pops of color and make the rest neutrals. The textures really help make the space feel unique to you, and I definitely encourage you to play with them! I usually always include a mirror in space to reflect the light and make the space feel bigger, and lighting is super key! I go for warm toned bulbs to make my space feel cozy. LIVING ROOM INSPIRATION
The fun part about changing out your spaces is that you can really see your taste evolve through the seasons! This room speaks to me because of all the different elements that make up the collective feel! Brooke from five years ago would not think to mix a cowhide rug, velvet drapes, and woven pieces together, but as I have taken more risks with my spaces I see the growth in my taste and development of style. I picked green to be my pop of color here, and I used a lot of gold metallic tones to give the room life. You can shop the room by clicking on the pictures below!
AMAZON INSPIRATION
Amazon is an absolute gold mine for decorative pieces, furniture, curtains, art, lighting and more! I am always amazed at the quality of materials offered, and I like to watch some of my favorite pieces to see when they go on sale. A lot of the pieces in the rooms below look like they are straight from an estate or antique sale! Mixing the classic look with modern touches is a winning look in my opinion.
