Christmas is almost here and to celebrate I have one more fun holiday hosting idea for you. This snowman snack board is the perfect easy, no bake addition to your holiday party. All you need to do is make the snowman, and it’s up to you to choose which treats to surround it with! A mix of store bought cookies and candies works just fine for this snack spread!

For the snowman, simply whip up your favorite buttercream icing (you can see mine in the video below). Then you’ll add it to a zip-loc bag and “pipe” it around in three circles to create the snowman. This creates the yummy, sweet “dip” for guests to enjoy with the cookies and snacks. To finish it, I made the hat, eyes, smile, and buttons out of a store-bought chocolate icing, though you could use a homemade recipe or even chocolate chips if you’d like. The finishing touch is the snowman’s scarf made of red licorice!

What to Put on Your Snack Board

The possibilities are endless! For my Christmas treat board, I added a mix of cookies I knew would work well with the buttercream as well as gingerbread men and peppermint treats for a pop of festive color. I also went with chocolate covered pretzels, Milano cookies, and cookie cereal. Like I said, it’s easy to pick your favorite store-bought treats - most people will be focused on how cute the snowman is, anyway - though you could definitely add homemade Christmas cookies into the mix too.

Another fun take on this snowman treat would be to surround it with undecorated cupcakes and sprinkles, for guests to create their own. Kids would love this too!
