The weather has been so overcast and chilly! I have wanted to spend the time cozied up in blankets by the fire with my kids. I recently compared a few styles of waffle-knit blankets from Amazon. There are so many variations to choose from, so I thought I would order a few to see what passed the “feel” test.
When I’m looking for a blanket, I want something that is soft, not going to pick apart, and something that isn’t too too heavy, especially if I am sticking it under a duvet cover.
I love a good waffle-weave style blanket. If you’re curious, the style is called waffle-weave because of it’s linen blend. If you think about it, the style feels like a combination of a heavy and light blanket material. The style is designed to help regulate body heat. The outer edging keeps warmth in, while the knit style helps cool. Win, win. Most are made with a cotton and linen blend for a cooling effect. They’re also super easy to clean!

Hand's-down my favorite pick (from the options I ordered) and the one that I kept from Amazon. It was super soft, a great weight, and it comes in multiple sizes.
02. amazon king size waffle weave
This blanket was a good option! It does have a more classic feel to the overall style. It reminded me of my grandma’s waffle weave blankets because of the thick border! If that is the look you are going for, grab this one!
Okay, I really didn’t like the other 2 blankets. Don’t order them… take my word for it! Both are super thin like a bedsheet. I like the pattern, but that’s it. I am afraid these will pick really easily so it wouldn’t be a good fit for us and out dogs!
I styled these blankets in our primary bedroom! I like to keep all my bedding super light, airy, and neutral. These Amazon blankets are going to make a great addition to both my guest bedroom, once we finish our basement remodel! I love layering all the styles of blankets.
